Ruth Pawson (1908-1944)
Though she was born in Stratford, Ontario, Ruth Pawson move to Regina at the age of three and spent her life painting Prairie scenes, primarily landscapes but also towns and city street life. She studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts under A.Y. Jackson and taught art to children at elementary schools and the Regina College of Art.1
