Located in west of Toronto, Donna Child Fine Art Gallery (DCFA) is a leading fine art gallery representing Canadian and international painters, sculptors, and photographers. We specialize in museum-quality exhibitions, art curation, collection management, and private art consultations.
With over 30 years of expertise, DCFA regularly curates and facilitates museum-quality exhibitions both in-gallery and offsite, with extensive experience in art logistics, domestically and internationally. Our team has curated exhibitions for the Temiskaming Art Gallery and the Museum of Northern History and co-curated the Toller Cranston Memorial Retrospective at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In addition to showcasing exceptional fine art, we offer art acquisition, installation, insurance valuation, restoration, conservation, and custom framing design. Donna Child – Owner & Gallery Director, Donna Child Fine Art Gallery
Donna Child has been a leading figure in Toronto’s arts and culture scene for over 30 years. As the Owner and Gallery Director of Donna Child Fine Art Gallery (DCFA), she has cultivated a distinguished career defined by fine art expertise, curatorial innovation, and a commitment to advancing Canadian and international artistic discourse.
After more than two decades as Gallery Director at Artworld Fine Art, Donna established her own gallery in 2020. Situated in west Toronto, the 7,200 sq. ft. space has become a dynamic hub for collectors and art enthusiasts alike, presenting a meticulously curated selection of Canadian and international painters, sculptors, and photographers. Renowned for hosting museum-quality exhibitions, DCFA also provides specialized services in art collection management, conservation, appraisals, and custom framing, solidifying its reputation as a premier destination in the art world.
Donna is deeply committed to fostering inclusivity in the arts. Through culturally diverse exhibitions, public workshops, and educational events, she strives to make art accessible to a broad audience. As a founding member of the Toronto West Arts Collaborative, she actively supports emerging artists by offering opportunities for education, networking, and exhibitions.
A significant aspect of Donna’s career has been her profound connection to Toller Cranston (1949–2015), the internationally celebrated artist and figure skating pioneer. Their meeting early in Donna’s career sparked a dynamic 25-year professional relationship. Toller’s fearless creativity and authenticity left a lasting impression on Donna, shaping her curatorial approach and deepening her commitment to championing bold artistic expression.
Under Donna’s leadership, DCFA has become the exclusive brick-and-mortar representative for Toller Cranston’s art. She has curated several high-profile exhibitions celebrating Cranston’s legacy, including a landmark showcase at the Museum of Northern History in Kirkland Lake—where Toller first learned to skate—and a retrospective at the Art Gallery of Ontario during his memorial service. These exhibitions have highlighted Cranston’s evolution as an artist and his transformative influence on art and culture.
Donna also curated an acclaimed exhibition featuring Cylla von Tiedemann, one of Canada’s most prominent performance photographers, whose career was profoundly impacted by her collaboration with Cranston. This project exemplifies Donna’s dedication to promoting Canadian talent and preserving meaningful artistic narratives.
In 2016, Donna organized a major sale of Cranston’s Estate paintings, bringing his work to collectors around the globe. Today, she continues to champion his legacy through her work with Toller International, curating gallery exhibitions, facilitating global sales, and ensuring that Toller Cranston’s artistic brilliance and cultural impact are recognized and celebrated by new generations. Her unwavering dedication cements Cranston’s place as a visionary whose creativity and courage inspire audiences worldwide.
Rebecca Ramshaw
Rebecca Ramshaw Biography
Rebecca Ramshaw is a seasoned art and design professional with over two decades of experience in the Fine Art industry and extensive expertise in Interior Design and Decorating. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, where she specialized in Design for Theatre, cultivating a deep appreciation for artistic expression and technical precision. Rebecca began her career in 1999, bringing her passion for creativity and design into every facet of her work.
Rebecca has been an integral part of Donna Child’s gallery team since 2011, serving as Assistant Gallery Director since 2015. She works closely with the Gallery Director on curatorial projects, exhibition planning, and graphic design, ensuring the seamless execution of the gallery’s vision. As a master picture framer, she specializes in complex object framing and museum conservation standards, providing exceptional care and presentation for valued works of art and treasured heirlooms.
With extensive curatorial experience, Rebecca has collaborated on numerous exhibitions showcasing the artwork and legacy of Toller Cranston. Having followed his skating and artistic career throughout her life, she possesses a profound understanding of Toller as both an artist and an individual. Her deep connection to his life and legacy fuels her dedication to preserving and promoting his contributions to the arts.
Rebecca is honored to serve on the advisory board of Toller International, a role that allows her to contribute meaningfully to celebrating Toller’s enduring impact. Her commitment to creativity and excellence defines her approach, making her an invaluable member of the art community.

Sara Truffi
Sara Truffi Biography
Sara Truffi is a Toronto-based artist and a student at the University of Waterloo, where she is pursuing a degree in Global Business and Digital Arts. Passionate about art from an early age, Sara’s creative journey has been profoundly shaped by her surroundings, including illustration books, paintings, drawings, and animation.
Of Brazilian and Italian heritage, Sara’s work often delves into themes of identity and nostalgia, weaving personal experiences and cultural influences into compelling visual narratives. She strives to tell a story with each piece, using bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors in her preferred mediums of acrylic and oil. In addition to painting, she explores digital media and enjoys experimenting with mixed techniques, pushing the boundaries of her creativity and artistic expression. Her work reflects a dynamic interplay of traditional and contemporary approaches, offering viewers a vivid and thought-provoking experience.
Sara first joined Donna Child Fine Art Gallery as a co-op student in the fall of 2022, where she quickly demonstrated her passion for the arts and her keen eye for curation and design. In February 2023, she became a valued member of the gallery team as our Gallery Assistant, contributing her creative vision and technical expertise to various exhibitions, marketing initiatives, and digital projects. Her role allows her to bridge her academic background with hands-on experience in the art world, further enriching her artistic practice and deepening her understanding of the industry.
